Teflon tape for packaging machinery is tan or brown in color. It is made by coating a fiberglass cloth with Teflon. One side is also coated with a press sensitive adhesive, which permits these tapes to be used at the temperature of 260 degrees C.
Surlyn® is the film used in skin or vacuum packaging. It provides excellent transparency, quick absorption of infrared heat, and deep drawability. It can conform to the shape of almost any product. It’s high melt strength allows the use of thinner gauges, and it does not get brittle with age or exposure to extreme cold.
Glue Dots are used to keep product labels facing forward, hold promotional items securely in place and affix multi-packs prior to shrink wrapping. They eliminate some of the most frustrating packaging issues; the danger of hot melts, the mess of liquid glues, and the residue left behind by many tapes.
Bubble Pack is a pliable transparent plastic material commonly used for packing fragile items. It provides cushioning for fragile items. It is available in different sizes, depending on the size of the object being packed.
